The ALC 2025 is being held at the Convention Centre side of the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), which is located only a short walk from Melbourne’s central business district.
The Conference (Friday 21 – Saturday, 22 March) is held in Plenary 3, which is adjacent to Polly Woodside.
The Garden Tours (Thursday, 20 March) depart from and returns to the porte-cochère, Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Most flights will arrive at the Tullamarine Airport which is located 23km from MCEC.
The fastest way to travel to MCEC is by taking a taxi or ride share such as Uber. The fare and time will depend on the traffic and can range from $60 to $80 AUD. If you are heading straight to the conference, ask your driver to drop you off at DFO at the Convention Centre Place.
The SkyBus City Express offers a quick and convenient service between Melbourne Airport and Southern Cross Station in the CBD, and departures every 10 minutes during peak times.
One way transport cost $23.90 AUD and return $40. The bus route takes approximately 45-55 minutes. Please note that the final stop of the Skybus is approximately 1.2 km from MCEC and you can transfer to a tram or take a taxi for a short trip to MCEC and nearby hotels.
If you are driving, Wilson Parking offers flexible rates and has secure parking locations under and near MCEC. The closest parking to access ALC 2025 will be at the South Wharf Retail near DFO South Wharf.

If you are staying in the CBD area, you can catch a train on route 96 or 109, as both stop at the Casino/MCEC tram stop at the Clarendon Street.
