Assoc. Prof. John Rayner

John is an urban horticulture educator with a focus on the design and use of plants, acquired by more than 30 years of teaching and research, and gardening on one-hectare in the Dandenong Ranges. His work is centred on the public realm and green infrastructure, in collaboration with industry and government partners. This has included pioneering research in green roofs that has helped expand the Australian industry and led to more than 100 publications, reports and projects delivered. Over the last decade John has helped lead and develop the Woody Meadow Project.
