The environment has been a significant contributor to Jac Semmler’s love of plants, gardens and artful whimsy. Having grown up on a farm in central Victoria and coming from a lineage of female gardeners, Jac is the Director of Super Bloom and author of two books, Super Bloom and The Super Bloom Handbook.
Jac worked in outdoor education for many years – living in remote and beautiful parts of Australia like the Victorian alps and Alice Springs. She then worked for the Diggers Club as Manager the Ornamental and Seed Area. It was here where her love for and knowledge of perennial plants began to flourish.
Jac combines her artistic skills and technical talents to create dynamic living beauty and diversity to gardens and landscapes through planting design and skilled horticulture. Jac will share her research in innovative in dry summer planting design.
