Born in Siena (Italy) but now based in England, Luciano Giubbilei initially established himself as a designer of some of the world’s most elegant urban gardens. More recently he has developed his design style decisively by absorbing and mastering the tenets of plantsmanship which are integral to the gardening traditions of his adopted home in Britain. The result is a sensibility which combines acute spatial awareness with beautiful naturalistic horticulture, poised at the leading edge of aesthetic thinking in gardens.
